An absolutely beautiful place to stay! My host was super friendly and helpful, the accommodation was perfect and in an idilic area
This was our first visit on Grand Cayman Island and it was wonderful. The Cottages is right on the beach with easy walking access. Being a smaller facility, it was quiet and a lot of personal touch. Glen and her team were fantastic, making us feel welcome, answering all of our questions about the island, always friendly with a smile. We enjoyed the included breakfast. We really enjoyed the East End side of the island and it was an easy drive to the North Side/Rum Point where we went several times for snorkeling, kayaking, and eating out. We also did some local kayaking using The Cottages equipment and some snorkeling off their beach, also. Two things that were different than the posting. The location pin was in the East End village but The Cottages are actually further northeast next to Morritt's. It also described the unit having an oven. It is a kitchenette with a small fridge/freezer, microwave, and a two-burner stovetop. This was perfect for us.
Beautiful property with kind and attentive staff! The Property Manager was proactive with providing information and soliciting questions. The location itself is as described; supremely beautiful and relaxing. We very much enjoyed the relaxed pace and fewer people on the East End. Several delicious restaurants are nearby, as well as a well-stocked (if smaller) grocery store. You can relax right there on what amounts to a private beach, or take a short drive to other attractions on the East End or on Rum Point. It was the fun-filled, laid back vacation we needed! We will definitely be back!
